Annetta Williams, LCSW
Annetta Williams has been serving individuals and families as a dedicated mental health professional for more than 20 years. Her experience spans a broad range of settings, including child welfare, residential programs, home-based services, and inpatient acute psychiatric hospitals. Throughout her career, Annetta has worked with children, adolescents, and adults, offering compassionate and evidence-based care to support healing and growth at every stage of life.
Annetta is EMDR-trained and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), with specialized expertise in helping clients navigate the complex impact of trauma. Her clinical work has included addressing issues such as abuse, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, marital and family conflict, and spiritual formation. She brings an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the interconnectedness of emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Social Work, Annetta also holds education in Biblical Studies and certifications in Christian Counseling and Mediation. These foundations shape her belief that faith and mental health can coexist in a powerful way to foster resilience and personal transformation.
Annetta’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. She draws from solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) principles, while also incorporating creative and experiential techniques tailored to each individual’s needs. Her goal is to help clients identify their inner strengths, build healthier patterns of thought and behavior, and move toward a more purposeful and balanced life.
