
Nicholas Junes, LCSW
Nick earned his Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University and also holds a Master’s of Divinity (M.Div) from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Boston, MA. Prior to beginning work at Fig Tree Therapy, Nick worked with individuals, couples, and families at the Veterans Affairs Hospital and in parish ministry. Nick has professional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and EMDR.
Nick is passionate about supporting others who need help with connection and communication, relationships and marriage, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and integrating mental health with spirituality. Additionally, as a cancer survivor, Nick enjoys helping individuals and families struggling with terminal illness. Nick emphasizes connection with self and others, breaking old cycles, forming positive beliefs, and living with more joy.
Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends (and dogs!), riding his bike, hiking, and following his favorite sports teams.
