With much anticipation and the drive to work with individuals who have experienced trauma, relational difficulties, and deep-rooted hurt, Brandi began her journey of working in the counseling field in 2012. After graduating in 2016 with her Masters in Professional Counseling, Brandi began her residency program to work toward becoming licensed. Brandi strives to build a relationship with her clients to instill trust, and to create a foundation for healing. She believes everyone, no matter what background, has experienced loss or hurt in some form or another. It is Brandi’s goal to come alongside those who are searching for healing, and to create a safe place for those individuals.
Brandi has been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and recognizes the impact of trauma memories on the body and mind. She utilizes this approach when working with individuals who have suffered from traumatic experiences.
Brandi has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults both in outpatient and in-home settings. She has experience using play therapy and attachment-based interventions for children and their families. Brandi also uses clinically supportive models with individuals who have experienced complex developmental trauma.
