Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology Pre-Medicine from Taylor University in 2002, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2007, and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2012.
In meeting with clients, Sarah utilizes a holistic approach, viewing and addressing persons as whole beings, consisting of body, mind, soul, and spirit. Likewise, in her work with clients, Sarah integrates psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and systems therapies with a desire to seek and rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance as to the needs of each person. Sarah feels called and honored to walk alongside and assist adults, adolescents, and couples in their journeys toward health and wholeness.
Sarah’s experience and range of practice include such areas as family relationships, couples counseling, marriage issues, infidelity, forgiveness, postpartum issues, childhood issues and trauma, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. Sarah is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, with an emphasis on applied neuroscience for treating anxiety, panic, and OCD. Also, as a certified Prepare-Enrich administrator, Sarah facilitates premarital counseling for couples. Sarah has completed the first two levels of Elijah House Training for inner healing work..
In her free time, Sarah enjoys time with her husband and three children as well as spending time outside, running, reading great books, and making green smoothies.
