Stephanie dedicated several years to her education, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the esteemed University of Louisville. She then continued her academic pursuits, obtaining a Master of Science in Counseling from Longwood University. Throughout her career, Stephanie has gained valuable experience in various fields, including leading wilderness-based interventions for both adults and adolescents. She has also served in ministry roles, leveraging her expertise to assist others in their spiritual growth and development. More recently, Stephanie has transitioned into a role as a life coach, utilizing her skills to empower individuals to enhance their mental and emotional well-being, all while integrating Christ-centered principles into her practice.
Stephanie has received extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities focused on grief, including Grief Therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Trust Based Relational Intervention, and utilizing the Enneagram for personal growth and healing. Through her specialized training in these diverse approaches, Stephanie is equipped with a comprehensive skill set to support individuals in processing and healing from grief and trauma in a holistic and personalized manner.

Stephanie’s professional work primarily centers around addressing various women’s issues, which she does by working closely with individuals at different stages of life, from adolescence to their senior years. In her role, she offers guidance and support to her clients as they navigate through the challenges that life presents, always striving to create a safe and nurturing space for them to explore their feelings and experiences. Stephanie’s dedication lies in helping her clients find healing and growth, promoting a sense of empowerment and well-being in their lives.
Stephanie’s experience working in ministry provided her with a deep insight into the significant need for individuals who possess a unique combination of clinical mental health expertise and a strong understanding of the Gospel. Motivated by her faith and a sense of calling from God, she made the decision to return to the field of counseling. Within her practice, Stephanie focuses on a variety of clinical areas such as life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety and stress management, co-dependency, and boundary development. One of her notable approaches involves the use of genogram work, a therapeutic tool that enables clients to explore and address generational patterns and family dynamics. Stephanie firmly believes that many of the challenges we face as individuals can be linked back to our early experiences within our relationships with others, and she strives to help clients uncover and overcome these underlying issues through her counseling practice.
She finds great joy and fulfillment in spending quality time with her close circle of friends and beloved family members. Whether it’s sharing laughter and making memories with friends or supporting her loved ones during times of need, her relationships hold a special place in her heart. Additionally, she actively participates in her church’s care ministry, offering her time and compassion to those in need within her community. Furthermore, she treasures moments spent in nature, immersing herself in the beauty of the great outdoors and finding peace and serenity in the natural world.
