Stephen Handley, LCSW

Stephen Handley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a heart for people and earned his Master’s in Social Work to be able to help people on a deeper level. He has been working with adults and adolescents seeking help with anxiety, depression, sex addiction, and trauma. Stephen’s current focus is with adolescent males, men, and couples. Stephen helps men and young couples excel in their lives and overcome emotional, behavioral, substance-related issues, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. 

 

He believes that health is holistic and works to integrate the client’s thoughts, feelings, personalities, experiences, and relationships into the therapy process. He works to establish an authentic relationship with his clients and helps them to develop a greater sense of identity, purpose, confidence, and direction to live a more fulfilling life in Christ.

Stephen utilizes a relational, cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, strengths-based approach and is EMDR trained. He takes a positive, optimistic approach and builds on his clients’ strengths to help them feel confident and meet their goals. Stephen understands the courage it takes to seek professional help and is intentional about meeting clients where they are in the process.
