Hello and welcome! I am truly passionate about helping individuals unlock their potential and live the abundant life they desire. My mission is to guide people as they navigate the complexities of life, face challenges head-on, and discover joy in the everyday moments that often go unnoticed.

I firmly believe that flourishing in life begins with our ability to cope with adversity. Life is filled with ups and downs, and it is through these difficult experiences that we often learn the most about ourselves and our capabilities. By developing resilience and effective coping strategies, we can transform challenges into opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

In my work, I emphasize the importance of building meaningful relationships. Human connections are vital to our well-being, and nurturing these relationships can provide us with the support and encouragement we need during tough times. I strive to create an environment where individuals feel safe to express themselves, share their struggles, and celebrate their victories, no matter how small.

Moreover, I encourage everyone to seek out and create moments of joy, even amidst the chaos of life. Joy can be found in the simplest of things—a warm cup of coffee, a heartfelt conversation, or a walk in nature. By cultivating an awareness of these moments, we can enhance our overall sense of fulfillment and happiness.

Together, we can embark on a journey of self-exploration and empowerment, where we learn to embrace life’s challenges while also celebrating the beauty and abundance that surrounds us. I am here to support you every step of the way as we work towards a life filled with purpose, connection, and joy. Thank you for joining me on this journey!

I have been married to my husband since January 2022, and we have been living in the New Kent area. We love to travel and adventure together and keep our faith at the center of everything, while also keeping ourselves organized and relaxed! I love to bring that duality into my sessions- finding adventure together but also maintaining some structure and plans!

I love working with all kinds of people, especially young adults. I have experience with grief work and helping individuals process loss. I love working with relationship issues, life transitions, depression, and anxiety.

I feel a profound calling to provide faith-based counseling, as I firmly believe that our spiritual beliefs and practices significantly influence our overall well-being. In my view, faith is not just an abstract concept; it is a vital component of our identity that shapes our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Just as our mental and physical health are crucial to our overall wellness, our spiritual health plays an equally important role.

In many ways, our faith can serve as a guiding light during challenging times, offering comfort, hope, and a sense of purpose. It can help us navigate life’s difficulties by providing a framework through which we can understand our experiences and find meaning in our struggles. I have witnessed firsthand how individuals who integrate their faith into their healing process often experience profound transformations, finding strength and resilience that they may not have realized they possessed.

Moreover, I believe that faith-based counseling allows for a holistic approach to mental health. It acknowledges the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, recognizing that each aspect of our being influences the others. For instance, when someone is grappling with anxiety or depression, addressing their spiritual needs can be just as crucial as exploring their thoughts and feelings or considering their physical health. By incorporating faith into the counseling process, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their beliefs, confront their challenges, and ultimately find healing.

In my practice, I strive to honor and respect the diverse faith traditions of those I work with, understanding that each person’s spiritual journey is unique. I aim to facilitate conversations that allow clients to express their beliefs and doubts, helping them to integrate their faith into their healing journey in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to them.

Ultimately, my goal is to empower individuals to embrace their faith as a source of strength and guidance, helping them to cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationship with the divine. I believe that by addressing the spiritual dimension of our lives, we can unlock new pathways to healing and personal growth, leading to a more fulfilling and balanced life.

I adopt a person-centered approach, emphasizing collaboration and empathy. Using cognitive-behavioral, existential, and relational therapies, I help clients understand their experiences and navigate challenges to enhance their quality of life.
