Elizabeth is a highly qualified Licensed Professional Counselor who obtained her Masters in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has undergone rigorous training and completed her residency in a private practice setting, where she gained valuable experience working with adolescents and adults. Elizabeth has a deep understanding of various mental health issues and specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, women’s issues, relationship issues, and life transitions. She has undergone extensive training in “Adapting Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for Everyday Clinical Needs,” a specialized technique that focuses on improving emotional regulation and interpersonal skills. Alongside EMDR and DBT, Elizabeth also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness into her sessions.  Elizabeth and her husband love to spend their weekends exploring all that Richmond has to offer. In her free time, Elizabeth also enjoys curling up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee, immersing herself in new worlds and stories. Physical activity is also a big part of Elizabeth’s routine, whether it’s going for a jog in the park or hitting the gym for a group fitness class.
