Barry has served in law enforcement, foster care prevention, ordained pastoral ministry positions and counseling. With an extensive background in training in trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and pathways of the brain, Barry’s career as a counselor connects his experiences through his unique background. Barry believes that unresolved trauma, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders are common among most people and nothing to be ashamed of. He helps his clients face challenges in relationships, parenting, work, mental health, and other areas of life through a person centered, holistic, reality based approach while applying spiritual principles with clincially proven techniques.

He has accumulated experience in addiction & group counseling, trauma-informed care, marital/relationship skill building, parent-child conflict, couples and individual counseling, and child & adolescent counseling.
