Diana Del Cid

Diana is a graduate-level clinical intern completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the College of William & Mary. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Diana brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the counseling room, having worked as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHO-T A/C), providing in-home services to children, adolescents, and adults. She has also supported underserved and homeless populations, helped launch a nonprofit organization, and worked extensively with Spanish-speaking communities.

Diana’s approach to therapy is grounded in warmth, presence, and deep respect for your individual journey. She believes that healing begins in a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Her style is compassionate and person-centered, with an emphasis on creating a calm and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their inner world and reconnect with themselves.

Whether you’re navigating life transitions, managing anxiety, processing past wounds, or seeking greater clarity and purpose, Diana walks alongside you with care and curiosity. Therapy with Diana is collaborative! You set the pace, and together you will explore what matters most to you, build on your strengths, and cultivate lasting growth and self-awareness.

While Diana welcomes clients from all backgrounds, she is also able to integrate Christian faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process for those who desire it. She believes that faith can be a powerful resource for healing, hope, and meaning, and she offers a thoughtful, respectful space to explore questions of identity, purpose, and spiritual connection within a Christian framework.

In addition to her person-centered foundation, Diana draws from mindfulness-based practices, strengths-based approaches, internal family system, and narrative therapy. She has a particular interest in interpersonal dynamics, family and cultural dynamics, and serving bilingual and multicultural communities. Fluent in Spanish, she is able to offer counseling services in both English and Spanish.

Outside of her clinical work, Diana is passionate about coffee, trying new recipes, traveling, and connecting with loved ones!

Diana is currently practicing under clinical supervision as she finalizes her graduate training and prepares for licensure.
